Desktop Tower Defense

Desktop Tower Defense

Anthony Jones, Creative ManagerIt’s not often, but occasionally, we do find an online game that grabs us by the ‘peripherals’ and brings out our competitive streak.

The game is called Desktop Tower Defense created by Paul Preece. By his own admission the concept pays homage to a similarly named facet of another game called Warcraft.

The concept of this game, and most of the games we find interesting, is very simple and this idea of ‘addictive simplicity’ is something we strive for whenever our clients speak to us about online game development. Some of the most successful and endearing games released, in our opinion, would most certainly be from the early years of games development with titles like Asteriods, Tetris & Super Mario Brothers e.t.c.

Well… you get the idea. We think the best ideas are the simple ones.
