Web Developer Vacancy (XHTML/CSS/JS/PHP)
If you’re a talented Web Developer looking to work on exciting projects with some big name brands for a dynamic digital agency in South Manchester, then there may be a place for you at DIGERATI\.
We’re currently recruiting for two positions:
1 - Front-end web developer [update: POSITION FILLED]
We’re looking for someone who can take a design and turn it into a W3C standards-compliant and accessible website. Good knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript is a must, and AJAX is a big plus. You should know at least enough PHP to be able to interface with a MySQL database, but also want to develop your PHP skills too.
2 - All-round web developer (expert-level PHP specialist)
We’re also after a developer who can do all of the above in their sleep (on a monday morning), and is also a dab-hand with object-oriented PHP. Only PHP ninjas need apply - you will be thoroughly tested! The job description is essentially the same as the above vacancy (see the full description below), plus the hardcore programming skills.
Just to clarify, these are not design positions, although having a good eye for design is always a plus.
Please send your CV and some recent examples of your work (these do not have to be commercial projects - they just need to be good) to me at marcus-dot-duffy-at-digerati-dot-info, and we’ll take it from there. Make sure you also send a little bit of narrative, explaining which bits you were responsible for.
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
No recruitment agencies please. No really - I mean it.
